After 20 years of being one of the biggest voices around Wildcats sports, Oscar Combs is stepping away from the University of Kentucky Radio Network.
Combs announced his decision Thursday on Twitter, saying "I decided to turn to another chapter in my life." Combs will be forever known as the founder and former owner of The Cats’ Pause, a UK fan magazine that's morphed into one of the biggest UK websites there is, not to mention helping pave the way for fan journalism across sports.
I know Oscar is a big reason why I'm here today getting to write about sports across various avenues, and I'm very grateful for everything he's done to help pave the way for many to follow.
