The Kentucky Wildcats have added an offensive lineman to their 2017 class.
Three-star offensive tackle Naasir Watkins has committed to UK. He made the call Wednesday night right after the hoops Cats beat Valparaiso.

Watkins, who hails from Good Counsel High School (MD), is a physical specimen at 6-6 and 295 pounds. He's actually played tackle and tight end in high school as he possesses an uncommon level of athleticism for a high school lineman. All of the major recruiting services have him rated as a three-star prospect.
Among the schools who've offered Watkins are Pittsburgh, Bowling Green, Virginia, Syracuse, and Ohio. His lead recruiter has been Vince Morrow, who continues to be the ace recruiter of UK's staff. With this pledge, there are now 16 players set to become Wildcats in the 2017 class.
Earlier this week, Watkins spoke with KSR about his recent visit to Lexington, the state of Kentucky football, and what it would mean if he committed.
"If I do come to UK, I’m coming to win," Watkins said. "If I end up coming there, I’m going to give that school, that city, all I have."
With his commitment, Watkins becomes the 16th pledge for UK in the 2017 class. He also joins Austin Dotson as the only offensive lineman committed right now, which makes this an even bigger get for Mark Stoops and co.
Here are some of Watkins' highlights:
