Arkansas at Kentucky: Second Half Live Thread

Andy Lyons

Wow, that was really ugly, and Kentucky is fortunate to be down only seven at the half.

All I can say about that half of basketball is that I'm sure glad it's over. That was about the most loathsome, miserable half of basketball that has assailed my vision all year. I can't unsee it, unfortunately, but it will haunt my dreams.

Here is the horror. I can't stand to look, and I recommend you skip this next part.

First half stats

Kentucky is very fortunate to be down only 7 points, and Arkansas might have missed an opportunity, because I don't think it's likely the Wildcats will play this bad in the second half. I'm not sure what happened, but hopefully, they've gotten that out of their system.

If Kentucky can stop turning the ball over and make layups, I think they can still win this game, although it's likely to be a dogfight from here on out. Nobody here has seen the rotations that Calipari put on the floor in the first half, and I don't even want to know why he did it.

All I want is for the Wildcats to come back and win.
