The University of Kentucky football staff hosted its second Junior Day of the 2014 recruiting cycle this weekend. The first Junior Day was held the previous weekend and reportedly went very well. Like last weekend's event, this weekend also utilized a Saturday men's basketball game as recruiting tool to sell the recruits on the BBN. The recruits and their families were treated to a competitive basketball game that had a great atmosphere. It seems to have gone well, according to Coach Marrow:
Great junior day people at Uk are great.

The attendee list this weekend appears to have been smaller in number relative to last weekend. We know offensive tackle Simon Stepaniak was present. Also, earlier in the week it was reported four star linebacker Nick Connor and four star tight end CJ Conrad, both from Ohio, were making the trip. Neither player currently claims an offer from Ohio State, and until either does UK probably stands a strong chance of signing at least one of the two given opportunities for early playing time and being branded a SEC player. Also: Vince Marrow. In fact, Conrad says UK now leads for his services, as he seemed to have enjoyed his visit:
LOVED my time in Kentucky. Could defiantly see myself coming here.. pic.twitter.com/GAkC4qqnMi

2016 Ohio linebacker/defensive end Jonathon Cooper of Ohio was present as well:

Cooper sounds like a Buckeye lean but Kentucky's efforts to woo him nonetheless speaks to the philosophical changes from Mark Stoops' staff to prior Kentucky staffs. They will compete as hard on the recruiting trail as they will on the playing field.
