This is getting ridiculous. In a good way.
During a week in which we all saw highly touted recruits Mike Edwards, Darius West and Denzel Ware commit, Mark Stoops is hinting that Big Blue Nation will have another surprise tomorrow.
Stanley "Boom" Williams is a running back out of Georgia that will be visiting Kentucky tomorrow. Stoops Tweeted out the following this evening:
I am getting ready for a BIG game of Yahtzee!! Maybe tomorrow... #BBN let's keep it rolling!!
How good is Mr. Boom? He is a four star player and is ranked as the #1 overall all-purpose running back according to Rivals.com. He has offers from Kentucky, West Virginia, Georgia, LSU, Mississippi State, South Carolina and a host of others.
Williams would fit Neal Brown's offense perfectly as he is effective out of the back field as a runner or a receiver.
Again, this isn't a for sure thing but Stoops sure is fired up about something. The visitation of Williams adds fuel to the speculation.
This isn't supposed to be happening folks. Not to a program that just went 2-10 just last season. But it is happening and it feels great.
Any other thoughts to who Stoops is talking about?
