First off, let me say how impressed I was with everyone in the inaugural Caption Corner post. It turned out to be more fun that I imagined. Not only did you come up with some very creative comments, you also helped highlight the favorites. I counted a total of 69 comment rec's. That is huge. Great job!
Since this is still a work in progress, I'm not sure how you all would like to review the previous caption post (or if you want to at all.) I can just re-post a link to make it easier to find or I can re-post the top two or three most rec'd comments. I think I will try it this way, let me know if you prefer some other way.
jacobbleedsblue took the top spot with 11 rec's for adding our Wildcats into the conversation like this,
"They're ruining the game, Michael! It's an absolute disgrace! AND THEY KEEP WINNING!" "I know, coach. I’m doing everything I can."
With what was looking to turn into a photo finish with a neck and neck tie, Wild Weasel received 10 rec's for adding of one of our favorite Dukeisms,
I Never Once Mentioned Flopping!
Several others received the green thumbs up and you can read them all here. Oh wait, I did it both ways. (I told you it was a work in progress and if you are mobile only, you're welcome for the link. '-))
Again, great job by everyone!
Anyway, let's get to today's photograph. Before we turn the page on April, I thought an impost for the feathered ones would be great closure on this season and a way to begin our 2013-2014 season on a lighter note.
I tried to find a 'legal' shiny new ink photo, but I couldn't. I did happen upon this one and as I have said many times before, this is one of my all time favorite photos. It just makes me smile. Although nothing is actually being said between these two it speaks volumes. Perhaps the beauty of it is that nothing needs to be said, but you know there are plenty of thoughts behind it. I challenge you, dear readers, to make me laugh with those smiles.
What are they thinking?
