According to Scout's Evan Daniels, Kentucky Wildcats head coach John Calipari will meet with the top prospect in the nation this afternoon. Huntington (W. Va.) Prep's Andrew Wiggins is down to the Kentucky Wildcats, Florida St. Seminoles, North Carolina Tar Heels, and Kansas Jayhawks.

The news is just the latest in what has been a flurry of activity regarding Wiggins. On Monday, the World Team was announced for this year's Nike Hoop Summit. Wiggins, the only Canadian on the roster, headlined the world's roster. He will play alongside Karl Towns, a 2014 commitment originally from Puerto Rico.
Yesterday, Wiggins was named the 2012-13 Gatorade National Boys Basketball Player of the Year. He received a surprise visit from NBA great Alonzo Mourning, who presented Wiggins with the award. Following that announcement, a perhaps unfounded rumor popped up around the Twittersphere that Wiggins planned to announce his decision. That rumor was quickly shot down by Huntington Prep coach Rob Fulford.
The consensus is that a Wiggins announcement will just happen unexpectedly. Wiggins has kept his cards close to the vest. Kentucky fans are rightfully bullish, but the bottom line is that no one really knows which school Wiggins will pick until he officially announces. For now, just enjoy this sick senior season mixtape that was just published and posted earlier by Glenn.
