Tonight, it's the Cleveland St. Vikings versus the Kentucky Wildcats in Rupp Arena, yet another game in the exempt Keightley Classic event.
What I'm hoping to see tonight:
- Better communication;
- More Julius Randle;
- A continued commitment to making open shots;'
- More time spent in a defensive stance rather than straight up;
- More effort.
All these things are on John Calipari's checklist, and you can bet he will demand every bit of this and more. Tonight, I will be hunting for this game down at the sports book in Bally's, and I have no idea whether or not I'll get to see it. No matter what, Ken Howlett (remember him?) will have your postmortem after the game.
This is a game Kentucky should win easily, although Cleveland St. is not as bad a team as some might think. They have talent, but they are young for a small school team and that will work against them tonight. Of course, it will work against Kentucky as well, but they have more talent to begin with.
Go, 'Cats!
