Alabama proved once again their dominance by crushing the Notre Dame Fighting Irish into a fine powder and using them as an inhalant.

"Notre Dame the 7th best team in the SEC? Ridiculous. They may lose the title game, but I don't foresee a blowout." -- Pat Forde, 11-25-12— Not Jerry Tipton (@NotJerryTipton) January 8, 2013

Stoops has to turn this around, but it won't happen this year.
UK Football received two doses of bad news on Monday. First, 4-star JuCo DT Ben Bradley committed to Auburn over Kentucky. Bradley was set to announce his decision via Twitter at 11 a.m. Monday, but delayed his decision several hours before settling on the Tigers. Bradley’s decision was disappointing, but the fact that Stoops and staff were able to swoop in at the last minute and make Kentucky a legitimate contender bodes well for future recruiting battles.Win some, lose some. The other bad news was TJ Jones' arrest, in case you're wondering.

I don't know, the playoff doesn't seem any more likely to have produced drama than this one.
One has to respect Notre Dame for going right at Goliath. One also has to pity the results.Mess with the elephant, you get the tusks.
