Rivals 4* defensive tackle Ben Bradley, a junior college player from Hutchinson C.C. in Kansas, may pick Kentucky on Monday
John Clay is reporting that Rivals four-star defensive tackle Ben Bradley will be choosing his school on Monday. He is set to visit the Auburn Tigers and Kentucky Wildcats this weekend. John Clay has the details, including a couple of tweets from Bradley.
Clay reports that Auburn is believed to be the leader in the clubhouse, but that the Nebraska Cornhuskers still have a shot at him. Rivals says that Bradley has high interest in UK, along with Auburn, Missouri and Nebraska. I wouldn't count on winning too many recruiting battles with Auburn or Nebraska, but Stoops has already pulled one defensive upset, and perhaps he can pull another.
Meanwhile, Louisville Trinity star Dalyn Dawkins is hoping for an offer from Kentucky (hat tip: Wild Weasel), but Neal Brown and the coaching staff are very carefully evaluating running back targets. Dawkins is small for the SEC at 5'9" and only 175#, and even though Brown's offense is made to accommodate smaller backs, it could be that we have enough of them already. Dawkins is likely to go out of state to Cincinnati, Clemson, or Colorado St. if he doesn't hear from Kentucky or Louisville, who also hasn't offered.
The fact that he isn't apparently still considering Western Kentucky surprises me not at all. I have no doubt Petrino told him not to bother.
