We're trying to start out the new year on a high note here at A Sea of Blue, and it is my pleasure to announce that Greg Edwards and Tyler Lashbrook will be joining our writing staff.

You all know Greg, he's been a valued member for years and years. He's been doing yeoman's work covering the Kentucky women's basketball team using Fanposts, and its well-nigh time for him to do it on the front page. That time is now, and you'll be seeing more of his commentary on all things Wildcat.

Tyler, you don't know, but you will soon. He is coming in from outside the blog, and has his own site, TalkHoops247. Tyler is a student at Western Kentucky University (my alma mater as well) and writes articles for the student newspaper there as well as some other things. Like me, he is a Kentucky Wildcats fan from way back, and I think you'll really enjoy what he has to add to A Sea of Blue.

We're extremely pleased to announce our new additions, and I've been intending to expand the writing staff for some time now, but other matters have slowed down progress. Better late than never, as they say.

I hope you enjoy our expanded offerings on A Sea of Blue, and we look forward to bringing you some of the best Kentucky Wildcats coverage on the Internet.
