Despite turning the ball over 7 times in the first half, the Kentucky Wildcats looked very good when they didn't, and lead the Alabama Crimson Tide by 9 at the half.
Kyle Wiltjer has proven that my suspicion about his lights coming on were surprisingly well-founded. He has been, more or less, the offense with 11 big points. He has done it inside and out, and has played surprisingly strong defense. Whatever he is doing, he needs to keep it up. If it's praying to Jobu and having John Calipari bring him rum, don't freaking stop.
Nerlens Noel has been a beast on defense, but has struggled on offense, making only 2-5 around the basket, but he has five big rebounds early and 4 blocks already. He may not catch Anthony Davis in total blocks, but he is giving it the old college try.
Julius Mays and Alex Poythress both have 2 turnovers, and that has to stop.
Lets get it done in the second half. Go, 'Cats!
