• Kentucky football gets commitment from Florida defensive lineman // The Courier-Journal
  This guy is only a 2* on Rivals, but apparently he is flying under the radar a la Randall Cobb. He had a lot of late interest from people like Kansas St., Washington St., UCF and Iowa St.

• UK’s newest football commit wants to be “one-and-done” // John Clay's Sidelines
  I suppose that's a good thing. If he's good enough to get drafted, he should be good enough to play for us.

Kentucky basketball

  Guess what? We got better. Alex (Poythress) got better. Really, how about Alex diving on the floor. At the end if the game, he didn’t run one time, he didn’t come up with the rebound. But he made strides. Kyle (Wiltjer) was terrific. Nerlens (Noel), the workouts for Nerlens has helped him more than anybody else. He missed free throws today which he had not been missing but he did good.

  I don't care if the victory is hard, only that it is a victory. Winning ugly is infinitely preferable to losing pretty.
