Garry Parrish has interviewed eight men who were either players or colleagues of Billy Gillispie in an effort to determine the cause of the apparent and eminent demise of the one time rising star in the coaching ranks and one of the contributing factors seems to be the time following his assuming the position of leading the Wildcats.

Meanwhile Jeff Goodman reports that a decision on Gillispie's future is on hold at Texas Tech as more information is sought by administration.
