The time has come for our biannual pilgrimage to Gainesville, Florida, home of the Florida Gators and the appropriately named "Swamp." Kind of reminds me of a song set in Louisiana, but apropos to the Sunshine State as well:
Well the Sheriff got wind that Amos
Was in the swamp tracking alligator skin.
So he snuck in the swamp, gonna get the boy,
But he never come out again. -- Amos Moses by Jerry Reed
I fear that's what's going to happen to our football team tomorrow.
Tweet of the Morning:
Wow, just saw this pic by Chet White from last night's Madness campout. Looks like we have even more than last year. twitter.com/UKCoachCalipar…— John Calipari (@UKCoachCalipari) September 21, 2012
Thanks for picking us up, Coach.
Your quickies follow the jump.
It's simple. You just do it.
The last time Kentucky beat Florida, stonewashed jeans and Members Only jackets were still in fashion. The Wildcats won a 10-3 defensive struggle over the Gators at home in 1986. Florida has won 25 straight since.
* Sigh *.
Tyler is one of the reasons that the UK defense has at least some hope at some point in the season.
No, Calipari is not going to like this at all.
Good news for Eric Bledsoe
The gist of this article - one big, giant fail all around.
Volleyball can be a dangerous sport for ankles.
Tom Leach has some Florida Gators game notes.
Faulkner too? AARRGGHHH!
Just in case you were wondering.
What if Maxwell Smith went nuts, and UK scored 30 on the Gators?
Indeed, why not? I'm all in!
