Can UK Realistically Pull Top Football Recruits?

I don't claim to know the answer but I do believe we are at a significant disadvantage. One of the principle reasons after the jump

Probably the biggest reason for the disadvantage is the current financial situation at the University of Kentucky. I know that comes as no surprise to anyone but I believe that UK is falling further and further behind than the fan base realizes. The link below is one of the reasons.

$60 million high school football stadium

This isn't even the biggest high school stadium in Texas?

The Dallas area produces many 4 and 5 star recruits which are the bread and butter of top programs. Granted the story is about a high school, but does anyone believe that players that are accustomed to that kind of treatment in HIGH SCHOOL would be willing to go to a college with facilities that are not at least on par?

A few years ago Nike did a complete overhaul of Oregon's facilities, including a locker room that was considered state of the art. When was the last time Oregon finished the season outside of the top 25?

UK needs to get to work if it hopes to even get a casual glance from the cream of the crop.
