Despite the predictable suggestions that Kentucky fans defaced a Louisville poster in the Frankfort area, today, the truth comes out -- it was Mother Nature who took exception to the Cardinals' swipe at UK. Karma, Card fans, karma.
Matt Jones has the Tweet of the Morning:
Lamar Advertising says in an email that a storm damaged the "Lexington is For the Birds" billboard, not UK fans.

Sonny Collins reconnects with Kentucky football // The Courier-Journal
Collins was one of four players recognized last week at the Governor’s Cup luncheon to highlight the UK-Louisville football game. It was exactly the kind of function he would have declined to attend in the past — and it was all because of the past.
Very interesting story about the greatest running back in Kentucky history. Sometimes life is just stranger than fiction.
Ex-Cats angling for starter status in Denver // Kentucky.com
Former University of Kentucky standout Wesley Woodyard is getting first crack at Williams' job, followed by backup middle linebacker Nate Irving, who made just one tackle in his first pro season last year, and head-turning rookie Danny Trevathan, another ex-Cat.
Good for Wesley. He'll be pushed by Trevathan, who's waiting in the wings.
Drake gets Kentucky Wildcats championship ring // EW.com
There is, of course, a lesson to be learned in all of this: if you are one the most popular rappers in the world and a personal favorite of countless 16 and 17 year old high school recruits…become a fan of a dominant college basketball program, and you too could could one day have your very own customized championship rock.
This was not one of Coach Cal's best decisions. I just hope it was made with his heart and not his head.
Kentucky: Schedule Breakdown // CBSSports
A quick glance at the 2012 schedule reveals that Kentucky might only be favored in three of its 12 games -- Kent State, Western Kentucky and Samford. Road trips to Louisville, Florida, Arkansas, Missouri and Tennessee won't be easy, but perhaps the Wildcats can steal a win or two with home games against Vanderbilt and/or Mississippi State.
We've already discussed that Kentucky will likely have to pull 3 upsets to get to a bowl. Doable, but a serious challenge for a young team.

Strange title, since Calipari is quoted in the article as saying both could be coming off the bench. Which makes us wonder -- who has Coach Cal found that would be a better point guard than Harrow? My guess would be Goodwin, but I also sense a bit of Calipari sleight of hand here.
"It’s like a best case-worst case scenario," said Zagoria of ZAGSBLOG.com. "At best, it will be an embarrassment of riches. The worst case scenario for Kentucky fans would be Julius Randle goes to North Carolina or Duke, Andrew Wiggins stays in the 2014 class and the Harrison twins (Aaron and Andrew) pick Maryland. All that is possible, but not likely. Kentucky is going to get players. It is Kentucky and they are the defending national champion. They will get players.
Says here that Wiggins will stay in 2014, but you never know for sure.
For me, it's kinda "Meh."
