OK, I know it's the middle of the best Basketball season in the last 15 or so years. And I know that Anthony Davis was never the subject of Nick Saban's radar. But this one ought to get some people's ears to sit up and pay attention.

Alvin Kamara of Norcross, Ga. has been getting fan mail. A lot of fan mail, and a really big chunk of it is colored Crimson.

It seems that Alvin has received 105 letters from the University of Alabama. All in one day. Hint to Joker Phillips, (What is our postage budget?). Kamara is a 4* prospect out of Georgia, and has been on Kentucky's radar as well as a ton of other teams. But based upon the sheer volume of responses he is getting from Bama, I would not hold out hope that he is going to become a Wildcat. He holds Alabama, Syracuse, and Georgia as his leading schools at this point.

I know that UK has been really successful at pulling talent out of Georgia lately, but Kamara may like things where the grass is greener, not bluer, so to speak. If this is the way Albama goes after all their recruits, it's no wonder they are on top oc the College Football world.
