Reliving Mohammed's Memorial Miracle

Now that my internet connection has been re-established after being out for 72 hours, I can post my CoachCal.com 94-feet article which recounts Nazr Mohammed's 1998 Memorial miracle. It was a half shot, half lob which gave the 'Cats one of the most unlikely victories in the program's history.

Go here for the full article.

Makes you want to go straight to Windstream's HQ and start lining people up for a firing squad don't it?

If I had a nickel for every time Windstream has let my internet go down, I could pay a year of Cal’s salary.

Suddenlink

is the name of my cable and Internet provider. And yes, I’ve been very near a coronary over the last few weeks dealing with innumerable outages.

I'm always happy to give someone chills :)

What a great game that was, with an even better ending.

Nazr Improved Greatly In 1998 Over 1997

He was part-time starter in 97 but All-SEC in 98.

Forty

You surely can remember seeing him in hs. I saw him on TV not long after he committed to UK. Huge hindquarters, slow, and had project written all over him, but wow what a player he became. I’ve always said that if he had stayed that extra year (which, as you know, he could have) UK would have beaten Michigan State in the ’99 Elite 8 and really challenged for another title.

Naz is a great example of, if someone works hard enough, the heights they can reach are immeasurable.
