Samford, as we discussed in the pre-game, is a really young team with a new head coach. They shouldn't be expected to be particularly competitive with Kentucky in this game, and if they are, perhaps our problems are deeper than we imagine.
What I'd like to see today:
- Better intensity. It's hard to be intense against a team like Samford, so if they can manage it, it would be a plus.
- Dominance on the backboard. Anything less will be remarked upon.
- Better point guard play from whoever it is that plays point guard.
- Meaningful improvement in communication and teamwork.
- Look like a team that deserves to be ranked, not a bunch of AAU guys trying to sex up a football.
Basically, I demand improvement. That is all.
