People are pegging him as a negative for Sonny Dykes if he were to become coach. Franklin's the OC for Dykes at LA Tech right now. I know he and Mumme didn't get along at all, and he was somewhat involved in the Bassett scandal. I'm not sure why any of that stuff from 15 years ago should matter now.
Does that preclude him from following Dykes here if that happens?
