Shades Of Platinum-UGH!

So, loving you some of those new NIKE HYPER ELITE "platinum" uniforms are you? Amazed at the shades of electric blue and platinum that Nike has chosen to commemorate your beloved Cats in? Or are you baffled by the nondescript monochromatic half-witted attempt to change a legendary appearance?

I wonder how much thought Nike put into this venture? I mean we have already been through the "Pro-Combat" phase of Nike ignorance. We have seen camouflage in every color under the rainbow turn out in less than sincere attempts to commemorate the U.S. Military. Just how ignorant does NIKE think we are? If there had been some incredible improvement in design, I might be able to stomach it. The recycling factor aside (which is the one thing that NIKE should be doing more of), why should fans be subjected to poor art, sad recycling of uniform ideas (several of the aspects of the uniform have been done on others in the past), just so Nike can sell another kind of a uniform to the masses and collectors of the world? I mean, theres no American Flag waving through the KENTUCKY spelled across the chest. They didn't even have the decency to use UK Blue for the accent color.

In the end, NIKE not only misses the mark, they insult the very programs they seek to give "Hyper Elite" status to.....as if it was theirs to give.
