Alabama at Kentucky: Second Half Open Game Thread

This is how I feel right now after that first half. (via Elaine with Grey Cats)

Kentucky is lucky to be in the lead after that first half of timid rebounding, missing 2-foot shots and galactically incompetent free throw shooting.

Here's to a better second half.

Bama had some things go right in the first half that are not likely to go right for them in the second.

75% from 3. Davis shooting 10%. Poor UK FT shooting. MKG on the bench for a long time.

Davis 10% shooting. Who woulda thunk it.

After I saw him miss a jam on a lob, I thought maybe he had stayed up late reading his press clippings. Hopefully he comes back and MKG gets going. If so, game over.

Interesting Game

Gosh these guys are good…terrible FT%, poor shooting by Davis some good defense where Bama still scored and I have no doubt UK wins this game even if these numbers don’t improve.

Never in Doubt

As I said at HT, never doubted Uk wins. Never really got it together from the line until the end. With the probs today, one saw a lot of good stuff.

Two points, when Billy G was at UK, I would watch Grant’s team play and think that should be our next guy. Didn’t happen and we did even better with Cal, but love his style.
I have also admired Green the last couple of years. He plays hard, plays well, plays smart and clean. He never shows up other players and seems to demonstrate exemplary sportsmanship. Love that guy too.
