Derek Willis Interview

May just be me, but sounds like he will announce he will be wearing blue on Friday! He does not seem as if he would be one and done where ever he plays either! I think he will fit in great, especially if Jones leaves. He says the main factor is head coach, and I would say we have a pretty darn good one! Here is to hoping Derek signs with The University of Kentucky!

Um... I agree..

if there is a clue there I don’t see it jumping off the page. Xavier picked up a bit of a black eye (or two) recently, but whether that affects his perception of the coach is anyone’s guess. To us, Rick at UofL , wouldn’t measure up, he’s an out of date model, but…and to us Cal would seem an obvious choice, but as Jeff whatshisname’s post showed the other day, that is not a truth 100% recognized. :-)
but it would seem that we learn soon enough. And yes a good player with more than one year in the program would be welcome, but I didn’t see that stated in the interview either. (Maybe garnered from another source?)

Speaking Of Recruiting

Final impressions from last weekend’s HoopBall Classic, including Shabazz Muhammad, Jabari Parker and Nerlens Noel.

BTW, all 3 UK signees are McDonald’s nominees, Archie Goodwin and Alex Poythress are in top 10 in new rankings, Willie Cauley in top 50.
