Florida @ Kentucky: Second Half Open Game Thread

Stay connected for news and updates

31-10 is not a score which engenders much hope, but bigger leads have been overcome.  That doesn't mean it will happen tonight, but there is still another half of football to be played.

Turnovers by Kentucky accounted for 21 Gator points in the first half -- Two fumbles and one interception, one of which was caused by an unblocked pass rusher near the goal line.

Kentucky was, as expected, outrun by the Gators, but Kentucky did move the football a number of times.  Morgan Newton has over 100 yards through the air.  Kentucky has only managed 29 yards on the ground so far, although they are unlikely to wind up with another sub-50 yard rushing game, despite an injury to Josh Clemons.

Hopefully, the second half will be better.
