That being said, if UK doesn't win it all this year, does the UK fan base start to question Cal's ability to get the job done? I for one, wouldn't question Cal. But what about the fan base as a whole? Would the fan base turn on the guy that put UK back on the map? I realize that there will be several teams in the hunt. UNC, Ohio State, Duke, Syracuse, UConn, and yes even Louisville, have a realistic shot at winning it all. If UK makes it to the Final Four this upcoming season and falls short, would the UK fan base start doubting Calipari? Are #1 recruiting classes and deep runs in March enough for the Big Blue Nation? Or does Cal have to win it all for his tenure at UK to be considered a success? Is this the year UK has to win a title? I predicted UK would win it all in Cal's third year as coach. If he doesn't, of course I would be wrong, but I wouldn't lose faith. I wonder how the rest of the fan base would feel if Cal fails to bring home the trophy is his third year with his third straight #1 recruiting class. What do you think?
