ASoB Fantasy Football League

I know there are fellow fantasy fans amongst us and I thought it might be fun to have our own league this year so that we can all fight over the right to draft Randall Cobb. In addition, I thought this fanpost might serve as a good central location for anyone else who is either in a league looking for members or is looking for a league to join.

The information to join the league is posted below. I don't know how popular this will be, so if the league runs out of spots and there are still a lot of people who are looking to play, maybe someone else can start another league and post the information in a comment.

I do ask that anyone who joins to please be committed for the entire season, it's not fun to have someone who doesn't respond to trade requests, doesn't change out players during bye weeks, or ignores their team halfway through the season.

use the league ID number, that's the best way

it's a lot of fun

The first time I played I did terribly, but had a lot of fun doing it. It helps to play in a league with people you know (or kind of know in our case)

Is this what I need to prepare for? I have found a huge amount of answers on my own.

Quarterback (QB)

Wide receiver 1 (WR1)

Wide receiver 2 (WR2)

Wide receiver 3 (WR3)

Running back 1 (RB1)

Running back 2 (RB2)

Tight end (TE)

Kicker (K)

Team defense/Special teams (Team DEF/ST)
?One team for this?? Or and a bench team (counts as one?) for a bye???

Eight bench players

I have searched the site in depth and can’t find a specific answer.

Standard yahoo rules or different??

Settings

If you click the “Scoring and Settings” link near the top of the home page you’ll be able to see all the positions that you will be drafting. They are the standard positions that you’ve listed, although I’ve added a few scoring categories.

The defense is a “Team Defense” (as opposed to using individual defensive players) which will be on bye at some point, so you might want to use one of your bench spots for a 2nd defense to play during the bye week.
