Notes From Final FB Scrimmage

Kyle Tucker blogs on Cats final scrimmage. High points include:

1) Offense has upper hand early, defense stiffens.

2) Fastest defense in years at UK, despite Danny Trevathan being held out. Is it physical speed or is it the Minter effect?

3) Only one starting offensive lineman played but second string got valuable snaps and opened big holes according to RB Raymond Sanders, who BTW is nearly 100%.

4) Great competition at RB with Josh Clemons impressive running, not so much blocking. Depth and competition at WR.

5) Morgan Newton has total command of offense but must improve execution, good early, not so good late.

6) KR looks set with Randall Burden on punts, Winston Guy on KO's.
