Please Welcome Alex Scutchfield to A Sea of Blue
As you know, A Sea of Blue is dedicated to the Kentucky Wildcat fan, and we are always looking for ways to improve this blog and the product it presents to our faithful readers, and to the Kentucky Wildcats blogosphere.
You may remember Alex Scutchfield as the owner and operator of the UK Football Fan blog. I am very pleased to announce that Alex will be joining us as an author, and although his "beat" will be primarily about football, he will also be writing about everything else related to the Wildcats, just like the rest of us on the front page. We don't have "basketball" authors and "football" authors, we just have authors. But Alex brings a particular expertise in football to A Sea of Blue.
Alex is a passionate UK fan, and we have linked his writing several times here when he was writing on his old blog. He has done a great job covering Wildcat football, and although we here at A Sea of Blue make a good effort to do this as well as possible, I think our football coverage needs to improve, and Alex is the first step in bringing that improvement to our outstanding membership.
So please welcome Alex to A Sea of Blue, and expect to be seeing him around and our football coverage get better. You can follow Alex on Twitter at @UK_Football_Fan.

a2d2 will be happy about this ;-)
Welcome aboard Alex!
3 > 2, except for very large values of 2.
Welcome to ASoB, Alex
I look forward to reading your articles.
God Bless Our Troops............Especially Our Snipers!
Alex, I am a rare fan that has come to love UK football, extremely
I was born to love UK basketball, but have hit the ground running for UK football over the last few years. I never miss a UK bball game but I do not watch a lot of NCAA bball and none NBA games. But I have found I love the NFL and other college fball games tremendously. (I hope that all works out, big time).
Right now I am in total football mode. I am ready. Just a tip for you, do not get discouraged when comments are few and far between on football posts. The minority of us here are football fans, some more-so than others. For football posts alone, I must say

I am looking forward to reading your stuff, both football and basketball.
Blue... there is no other color to Bleed !!!
One more thing,
I read your post at Glenn’s link and sounds like I could learn a thing or two about football from your son. I only started learning the game a few years ago, and took a few crash courses, with a lot of help from members here and asked a lot of questions from male friends about the game. I have been accused of being like this girl. :-)
It has been a labor of love for me. Still is. If someone wants to learn, it comes easy. Your son must have really wanted to learn football, too.
