Commitment Day: Open Thread
This is an open thread to talk about the commitments of DeAndre Daniels and Trevor Lacey. According to Rivals' Jerry Meyer, Lacey has committed to the Alabama Crimson Tide.
Discuss that as much as you want, or any other Kentucky-related topics or news.
Official now for those of you who did not watch it live. Lacey is going to Anthony Grant and the Crimson Tide. Congrats to Lacey and Grant, I think this was a good call by him and a great recruiting job by Grant. Check out the reaction over at Roll 'Bama Roll.
[UPDATE: Per Dave Telep on Twitter, Daniels will announce tomorrow AM]

Most reports say he is going to Alabama

Staying Home
Trevor Lacey did it, so did Torian Graham earlier this week. Question is: When is The Commonwealth ever going to produce a 5* to stay at home?

Darius Miller wasn't far off as a high 4*
Can anyone opine on who the last 5* Kentucky high schooler was? I’ll bet you a gold doubloon that Forty knows.
Yeah, I realized that's not what was being asked
Right after I posted the reply. Stupid no delete button. . .
Rondo was the last 5* from Kentucky that went to UK.
The last 5* from Kentucky (if you don’t count Chane Behanan, who was an Ohio import, I think) was Scotty Hopson, I’m pretty sure, just like NYC said above.

Love to see Harrellson go 29th. That would make me very happy.

Having Josh go that high would be just wonderful - just grand
A man is nothing more than a summation of his scars!
As a Spurs fan (inasmuch as I follow the NBA)
I’d love this. They have a track record of taking undervalued players and making them better than folks expected.
