This is your official A Sea of Blue open game thread for the first game of the 2011 Final Four between the Butler Bulldogs and the Va. Commonwealth Rams.
These two teams have done a remarkable job to get from low seeds to the last weekend, particularly VCU, who got here via one of the play-in games (I refuse to call them the "first four"). Shaka Smart versus Brad Stevens - two of college basketball's wunderkind fighting each other for a spot on the biggest stage of all -- the 2011 Tournament Championship Game.
The first finalist will be decided now. Enjoy the game.
