2011 Jordan Brand Classic Open Game Thread

This is the official A Sea of Blue Open Game Thread for the 2011 Jordan Brand Classic game.

Four Kentucky signees who will be freshmen next year will be playing in this game, two for the East team (Gilchrist and Teague) and two for the West team (Wiltjer and Davis).  It should be quite exciting to watch.

Enjoy the game, and talk about it in here.

UK guys looking

pretty good. Them ACC boys can’t hit it wide open under the basket.

I woke up feeling BLUE this morning. It's gonna be a great day.

Davis is awesome

defending that basket. UK is going to be one of if not the best defensive team next year.

all 4 recruits

have a great attitude and want to win…Teague wants Knight to come back next year cuz he wants the team to be the very best it can be. Gilchrist does everything out there, Davis is an absolute beast and will probably lead SEC if not the nation in blocks next year, Wiltjer is so skilled and will be a killer on the pick and roll as he is such a good shooter & passer…What a GREAT class coming in Cal!!!

Wiltjer never leaves the floor.

He’s got skeelz, but there is nothing very athletic about his game. That needs to change.

Don't see him as

one and done. He will be a very good player but will take some time.

I saw that

He has some development to do, but he has the basis to do it. Cousins didn’t jump very well (never had to do it before college), but he has improved now in NBA>
