It sure looks that way now that his head coach at Manhatten College has been shown the door; a 6-25 record tends to have that effect on a coach. Surely Padgett will find gainful employment ... maybe as UK's new Director of Basketball Operations now that Martin Newton has become the AD at his alma mater, Samford.
Whatever happens, though, I wish Padgett all the luck in the world (as long as he doesn't go the Walter McCarty route and toil for the vile Cards).
