Just about every player in the "athlete with loads of potential" mold will at some point in his career be a great offensive rebounder and a poor defensive rebounder. Davis is no exception. When we examine Davis’ game on video, it’s easy to see that the qualities that make him is a fantastic offensive rebounder are the same qualities that make him a poor defensive rebounder:
