This is not Kentucky related but Yale's star quarterback Patrick Witt has quite a dilemma. On November 19th, he must choose between leading Yale in the game against Harvard or deciding to interview in Atlanta for the prestigious Rhodes Scholarship.
This 22-year old has a big decision to make. His football coaches are telling him not to miss Atlanta and his academic advisors are telling him he has to play in the football game. His parents are there whichever he chooses. Props to all of them. After all, it should be his decision.
Because I was quite intrigued by his dilemma I wondered if any of us could make this decision and how our votes would go. I don't think I could grasp this decision because: a) Never a star QB, and b) Never close to a Rhodes Scholar. :-) Since he left the Cornhuskers to attend Yale, I think he might pick Atlanta. Let's take a little poll to see the results. What would you do?
Poll
If you were a star QB for Yale, and had to choose between starting in the Harvard football game and a Rhodes Scholarship interview, which would be more important?
The Harvard big rivalry game (3 votes)
The Rhodes Scholarship interview (19 votes)
