You asked and have now received. We college football fans wanted a little spot to chat about the huge game tonight between the Tigers and the Tide. Chat away while we look for the true number 1 team next week. Only one can win. Which SEC team will emerge on top?
This is a BYO(whatever). We will of course virtually share what we bring because we always share. In the meantime, just smile at the photo I chose.

He only threw 1 ball that was even close to being intercepted, you'll see it in the 2nd quarter...
Otherwise, very safe throws. Just needs some reps to really shine.

Arkansas is putting the last nail in the USC coffin.
Ahead by 9 and just intercepted at the USC 11. Oh, first play to the two. Sets up a big game Thanksgiving weekend vs LSU. If Bama wins tonite and Ark wins at LSU (somewhat possible) then a 3 way tie in the West.

Kudos to the Dukie for pointing out we really only lost 1 freshman to the NBA last year. He gives Cal serious props for managing his team to their strengths and not his preconceived style.

I don't know that I can argue with that...
I have to temper my conclusions with:
1) He’s a freshman
2) He’s had limited reps
He played a good, solid ballgame… Not flashy, not spectacular, just steady…

Holy crap!
I just finished watching the 2nd qtr of the game. This kid blows me away. No kidding, A freshman, starting his first game, for a team that has been struggling and may have a doubt or two and he looks confident, calm and throws a pretty damn good pass.
The announcers were razzing him about one pass and they were dead wrong. It was a great pass for someone who is seeing the game in slow motion. If the ball was just bit higher it would have been a highlight on ESPN.
Enough for now, back to the game. BTW – I’m impressed with the D, regrouping after a shaky start. Great INT by Trevathan.

Knowing what the final score is makes me think the 2nd quarter will come to haunt lksdjfklsj; . He wasted a valuable time out on contesting a call about a tipped ball when there wasn’t an Ole Miss player within 4 yards of the ball. (Line did a great job making passing lanes.) Then he fidgeted all over the sideline talking to no one except the poor person on the other end of the headphones, that is, if there’s anyone there. Anyway, to the 2nd half.
