Big Blue Nation Linkapalooza: Halloween Eve Edition

Tomorrow is the day we celebrate Halloween, there should be lots of ghosts and goblins around town, and a few tricks and treats.  Yesterday, however, the trick was on Kentucky via the Mississippi St. Bulldogs.

The good news?  Basketball season is here, and the first exhibition game against Transylvania is just three days away.

Here are today's links:

Joker is hedging his bets, judging from his post-game comments

Smart move at this point.

Cats will pick it up on D. Calipari won’t allow it not to happen.

Ga. Tech over Clemson…..now who in the world would have picked that one???…..lol

Personally I think the Missouri thing is already done. I think they are just letting the legal minds finish the details.

I loved that quote from Calipari about the cost of leaving the SEC…….hilarious.

Yeah.

The leaving the SEC quote made me laugh too.

And I don’t blame Joker for hedging his bets. But I have a feeling, no matter what, we are going to see a lot more of Matt Smith from here on out. I recall that Hartline got benched in favor of Newton and Cobb when Hartline was a junior. Could be what goes around, comes around.

Yeah, yeah... I'm hearing ya! :-) No need to rub it in! LOL

Congrats on the Ga Tech call Glenn, you hit that one right in the sweet spot…

Kiffen's whining is laughable.

I wonder what he thought about the obvious no call on the offensive holding on their final drive to tie the game and force over time. Had that penalty been called (and obviously should have) we wouldn’t have the pleasure of hearing him cry about the officiating.

Yep.

This just highlights, as if it needed doing, that he’s still a big turd in a small bowl.

Just about spewed on that one.

Incredible that you used that phrasing. Honestly, when I wrote that post I was going to end it with “The turd.” I only refrained because I thought “Glenn might not think that’s a PG-13 word.” .

Heh.

Well, I’d never personally use it in a post, but in a comment, I don’t mind. :-)
