Cal's comments on the players (from the UK Tip-Off Luncheon)

I watched it all.  There wasn't much new, but here's what piqued my interest.  That's right: "piqued."  This all relates to players on UK's roster.  He referenced the Pitino kerfuffle and some other stuff, but that holds little interest for me.

Here's some of what Cal said (This is the gist, quotes may be inexact).

When visiting Anthony Davis, Cal asked him what position he wanted to play.  Davis said "2 guard."  Cal, wanting to be honest with him, responded "Ok.  But we post up our 2 guards a lot."

On 3 point shooting: Doesn't think it will be a problem.  Lamb and Miller are back and both Davis and WIltjer can "really shoot it."  Also Terrence is shooting much better than last season.

Kevin Durant came up to Cal and told him that "the big kid can really play."  Cal asked him who he meant and Durant identified Wiljter.  Cal asked "How he do?" and Durant repeated "He can really play."  The team has also used a speed coach to help Wiltjer.

The one word Cal used repeatedly when describing Teague was "physical."  He also said Teague is absolutely locked in to Cal whenever Cal is coaching him and really wants to learn.

On Gilchrist, Cal indicated that Gillie is like a better version of Liggins.
