Oh, my goodness
Over their last three games, SC has made only 20-62 (32.3%) of their three-point shots … Over the last four games, SC has not made over 44.3% of their shots from the floor, in any one contest …

Shades of Alabama. It is beginning to scare my to death to read that an opponent has not shot the ball well.

Also, reflecting on Knight’s stats, it occurs to me that Brandon is the first UK player out of Florida that has lived up to his hype. Irving Thomas, Gimel Martinez, and Stacey Poole come to mind as those who have not.

Quoting

I have no idea how to do it. I would have probably quoted the whole article. As far as living up to hype,I always thought Gimel Martinez was a decent player and we could use somebody like him on this team. I think it’s too early on Poole but so far he hasn’t shown much. But he hasn’t had much of a chance either.

I understand what you say about Poole

He is young and he may catch on. However, if he was as good as he was touted coming out of Jacksonville, he already would have had his chance.

Martinez contributed, but he was not as good as they thought he was in Florida.

I'm a little amused

People talk like it should be a surprise that conference teams roll out the carpet and take UK as a big game when they come in. It has always been that way. The 1940s to present. Now I know that young people often are ignorant of history and we have a completely new coaching staff since last year, but for fans, UK as “Super Bowl” is an old story.

LOL! Ain't that the truth,

but, lifelong fans don’t play the games. 18-22 year olds do, and every year they have to be indoctrinated into what it means to play for UK. Oftentimes, how a group embraces that fact determines how successful they are.

Ken

Another good job. As to your remark that lifelong fans don’t play. It is getting a lot harder to talk about our history because some of the younger people don’t know it or care.

Happy Days are here again! Wildcat's have #1 recruiting class again!
