I don't know how or what if anything can be done to help Sean Woods, but he needs it desperately. Sean, now the coach at Mississippi Valley State University is taking on the impossible just to pay the rent, for his school. Sean has taken on the toughest schedule in Div I basketball to raise enough funds to keep basketball as a viable sport at MVSU where he is now the head coach. The schools down there are struggling just to stay afloat, so Sean is taking on anyone who will let he and his team come play for as much money as he can get, and that includes Kentucky. They will be here on December 18th at Rupp Arena to take a beating at the hands of the Wildcats just so they can collect the highest fees they can.

You will remember Sean as one of the Unforgettables from Kentucky lore. One of the brightest spots in UK history, which came from one of the darkest. Again I have no idea what can be done to help them, but if anyone does, please get the idea out to everyone. Basketball is more than just a game, and Sean is family. And we don't let family go down without at least trying to help.

Sean thanked me for the attention to the school's plight, and I will follow up with some info later as well as try and get an interview with Sean posted up before they come to play the Cats. He was extremely grateful for any help he can get. They have lost the floor to their Basketball Court due to weather, Sean made up a lot of ground with the schedule they had this year, but as soon as he thought he was going to be able to bank a little money for the program, they got it with more expenses and he has to not only cover his costs but make money for the school to stay open as well.
