PrintWith all the Cal haters emerging from the depths of the nation, I thought we needed a little football reading material. I wouldn't mind if every day was football Saturday.
Here are a few links for us football fans to read. Feel free to comment, or not, or to add more links.
Mike is now confident with the long pass.
Good to see.
Akron's strength is running the ball.
Joker knows this. Can he stop their runs?
Mike has something other SEC QB's can't compare with.
It also says Mike is third in the SEC in quarterback efficiency.
What does Randall say he can't do?
I don't believe him. :-)
Joker keeps his QB options lined up.
Morgan and Mossy are extra eyes on the sidelines too.
One more thing...Does anyone know where I can get the UK playing cards that feature Joker as the joker? I think I gotta have those for my collection. I didn't say I needed them. '-)

I will say this, after reviewing a lot of Akron stuff, saying they have a strength is kind of a misnomer….its more like less of a weakness….lol

Also we are getting a new kicker this week, and it isnt Joe Mansour.
Craig McIntosh will be doing the kicking this week against Akron…..I guess Mansour will have to wait….???

The QB article was interesting……… Newton talks about working to get better and helping Hartline; nowhere does he say anything about learning from Hartline. Guess he thinks he already knows everything.
Just hope we can put this game away real early. It would be great to see Newton and Mossy get extended playing time.

Also said he was the best athlete he’s ever been around.
I have be correctly accused of having a 'football fetish'. You know, someone who doesn't think football is the warm up sport to basketball season.
