Reports: When it Rainey[s] it Pearls
Leading off the "hit" parade is Florida wide receiver Chris Rainey who has been charged with stalking after sending a threatening text message to his on-again-off-again girlfriend. The message, which in part read, "its time to die, ___" was sent to the girl just after Rainey left her house.
Florida coach Urban Meyer is expected to address the Rainey situation at Wednesday's SEC media opportunity.
Seems as if the NCAA investigation into the Tennessee Volunteer basketball program has included a look at who's been to Bruce Pearl's house. According to this report, the NCAA questioned Pearl about then-UT commitments Aaron Craft and Josh Selby visiting Pearl's house in late 2008, while both were in high school. Pearl denied the two players had ever been to his house, but, oops, the NCAA already had in their possession a photo of Pearl and Craft, together, at Pearl's house.
Craft is now at Ohio State, Selby at Kansas.
Stay tuned, Days of our Lives will continue ...
