Question for Pete Thamel -- how is the Sun-Times backing down from Calipari? He hasn't said a word.

Biased, much? You swung and missed once, but you just can't let go. As we all suspected.

Just a thought

Has anyone else noticed the corollary between Pitino and Calipari—- anytime some negative Pitino story sprouts legs, within a very short timeframe some “bombshell” about Calipari hits the sheets? Aside from the conclusion if the Sypher affair and the ST, there was the Bledsoe- grades-controversy. Just to illustrate the two most recent incidents.

Just saying….

Read what he said.

“not backing down from UK and Calipari”

How could the ST back down from Calipari? He’s said nothing!

Thamel has no shame, and evidently far less scruples

I can’t believe he’d come up out of his hole for this. Once again his contention is a total falsehood, as has been already pointed out by some of the above comments.

You Got it

Ya know when the company you work for is a piece of crap…. ya know the employees are a piece, as well… I said when the “Bledsoe Story broke” the NYT is a sorry ass, no responsibility, deals in anonymous sources, with no credence, bankrupt and did care who they verbally assaulted… all this does is keep the fan base the NYT has (very little) in the state… NYT and CST are both desperate… the bottom line of each is big and red and they are hanging on by a prayer… just hoping to get someone to bail them out!!! Just consider the source… until someone really hammers them and makes them pay for their lack of responsibility, they’ll keep it up!!

Why don't you tell us how you really feel :)

The actions of both papers have gone a long way in proving you correct in your contention.
