Heck yeah Cal. Keep on bringing them in! Pretty soon, every single one of us is going to become spoiled with getting all of these top recruits, and I'm not saying that's a bad thing.
I'm tired and ready for bed and I got nothing else to say but I'm going to keep typing to meet my word quota. Type, type, type, type...still typing, I can't wait for this year's basketball and the 2011 class too. Bring on the Cats baby!

The guy seems solid...
with a 3.4 gpa as well.
I use to love Happy Meals, now I love sushi, but I will always love Kentucky!
Wow
Was initially a bit disappointed that he was “just” a top 30 recruit, we’ve got it so good in terms of recruiting lately. As soon as I saw it I thought that Wiltjer was lucky to have made it onto such a crazy talented team.
No way this isn’t the top recruiting class in history if all these kids stay true to their commitments.
UCLA 1965
That recruiting class featured 4 HS A-A who were undefeated as freshmen, then were 88-2 winning 3 NCAA titles on the varsity.
Hard to top that, I think.

Apples and oranges
What the recruits did after they started playing college ball isn’t what we’re talking about. It’s how they stood as a recruiting class out of high school. If the Wall-Cousins class was the best class in the last decade, maybe since Webber-Rose in 1991, considered by some the greatest of all time, the Gilchrist-Davis class has to be in that discussion, especially if Cal lands one or two more 5-star recruits, which is still a possibility.
The UCLA Class Had Four Top 25 HS Recruits
- Lew Alcindor, Top 5 Lucius Allen, Top 10 Lynn Shackelford, and Top 25 Kenny Heitz.
The best recruiting class of all time, not much doubt.

Four 5 Star (Top 25) Recruits
Cats haven’t done that very often.
1971 – Flynn, Conner, Guyette, Grevey.
1979 – Bowie, Hord, Minniefield, Hurt.
2009 – Wall, Cousins, Bledsoe, Orton.
2010 – Knight, Kanter, Jones, Lamb.
And now 2011.
