PrintOnce again, the Kentucky Wildcats will take on the Windsor Lancers in their final exhibition of the 2010 Big Blue Invasion of Ontario. Here are the particulars:
Game particulars as follows:
Time and place: 11 AM St. Denis Centre (Windsor, Ont.)

It has been fascinating seeing some of our young guys play this far ahead of the season, and I have enjoyed what I have seen. Darius Miller has clearly raised his game, as has DeAndre Liggins. Brandon Knight looks like a likely one-and-done, and Doron Lamb and Stacey Poole look like possible returnees next year. Josh Harrellson has shown some signs and so has Jon Hood, but both those guys need to raise their game more.
Of course, we have not seen three very important cogs of the 2010-11 team: Terrence Jones, Enes Kanter and Eloy Vargas. That will have to wait for Big Blue Madness.

Liggins couldnt draw a foul that low....and the defender couldnt get position

made him look bad with a terrible call

Got an idea man. If you can get the game on the internet go there. Then minimize that screen and open another home page and go to our blog site. Then open up both windows and you can switch back and forth. Hope this helps.

they just play hard. A little slower than Wall and Bledsoe but seem to play more under control.

Overall an 18 point lead at halftime was not what I expected......Fairly impressive.

ROUGH PLAY
This is a great think for this team. I don’t like the cheap shots during this game, but this lineup and the 10 extra practices will both pay dividends throughout this season. We even got a kid Coach Brown needed today. GO CATS!!
Rough is OK.....we will see that all year long. But I want the Refs to call it. Or at least attempt to.

I think I have more respect for Cal's coaching ability at this moment than I have ever had.
These kids respond to his every whim. He points it out, they go out and do it. Very impressive coaching job the last three games.

I loved and will always love the 2009-10 team. But they were hardheaded and about drove Cal
crazy at times.

Conflict
BB and NYSE, one of the negatives on a a.m. game. Watching and trading is a challenge but both successful thus far. Finally squeezed in an ASoB moment. Very businesslike (pun intended) performance by Cats.

A few days in Canada and 3 UK Basketball games at 10 bucks a pop. And you can tell you’d have gotten a birds eye view of Cal’s coaching in action.

Harrellson Observations
Improved from game to game. Much more active feet on offense and defense. More aggressive going for rebounds. Still soft with shots especially under duress — too much “touch” rather than muscling. He must be in shape since he’s played 50+ minutes in 3 games.

This team got better over a three game set....that is impressive considering how early it is and who played

Man, it’s going to be a long wait. Hope the football Cats give us some good times this fall.
