Kentucky Basketball: Interview with Unleash the Rage
The fine people at Unleash the Rage, an Internet radio sports program of SEC Rage, interviewed me extensively about Kentucky basketball last Thursday.
If you want to hear me blather on about John Wall, John Calipari, Patrick Patterson, DeMarcus Cousins and the rest of the guys from last years team along with the Terrence Jones situation, you can find the interview here. It is kind of long, so you might want to download it as a podcast and listen to it when you have time.
These guys did a great job, and know their basketball. The questions are intelligent and thoughtful. The answers? Well, when you interview me, you get what you get.

Good interview Tru!
Though I have to admit, I always pictured your voice to sound like Morgan Freeman for some reason. ;)
It is not worth an intelligent man’s time to be in the majority. By definition, there are already enough people to do that.

You get a 8.0.....good answers.....showed some restraint when questioned about sensitive subject matter
I think you lowballed our talent level and our impact on the SEC this year. Made you sound more journalistic than UK fanbase. I think EPIC FAIL may have been stretching it a bit for the analysis of Cal someday leaving this program, although I guess that would describe some people’s analysis. But you do represent well Tru….no doubt about it.
I AM THE CAT......The Cat In The Hat!!!
Heh.
Maybe it was stretching, but I rather doubt it. :-)

As to sounding "journalistic" ...
… you have to understand that part of the “appeal” of A Sea of Blue is not to lose oneself in fandom. I try to call them as I see them, although I am not unbiased.
It’s fine for you to wear Big Blue shades all the time, but that’s just not me.

I guess it is fun to be me.....lol....
I understand…..just once though I would like someone to get a voice and just be able to blast away at some of these sophomoric neanderthals who claim to be journalists themselves.
I AM THE CAT......The Cat In The Hat!!!
Heh.
Isn’t that what I do all the time? :-)

I AM THE CAT......The Cat In The Hat!!!
It's a waste of ammo ...
… to shoot a fly with a Howitzer. :-)

So....
…Green bugs can’t dance? :-)
j/k
Loved the “You just want me to start talking?”, about PPat. They knew you didn’t need a question. Great job.
Blue... there is no other color to Bleed !!!
Thanks.
It was fun, they did a good job.

Good stuff all around
UTR’s questions cut straight to the chase and your answers were very well reasoned.
I got a kick out of their intro :) We’re a basketball blog, now.
Thank You, Jesus! lol
No matter where you're at, there you are
Wow! Really Dissappointed!
Gosh, why couldn’t you bring up the fact we’re paying Cal all this money, we’re not spending that kind of money on other sports, we’re living under a shadow of doom, Cal will leave in the middle of the night, we’ll have to forfeit all national championships, we have a weak OOC schedule, Cal is the devil reincarnate, barnhart spelled backward is trahnrab which is Maori for Lucifer, Sandy Bell is taking payoffs from Tennessee and Louisville, ,……… uh?… what?… I was dreaming?…oh?…… thought I was ParisGuy…… Oh, dear. Sorry. Nevermind.
BTW – Good job Tru.

Ever though about
being a color commentator at UK games, Tru?
I really did like the piece and the responses that
you gave. I have been impressed by this site and the way in which you and Ken run things.
But I do have a question for you.. How did Glen Logan become Truzenzuzex?
Read my profile.
It will tell you all about it. :-)

Very interesting..
when did you attend WKU? I live in Bowling Green and attended WKU myself.
Not qualified.
I speak rather poorly, I think. Too many “uhs” and “umms.”
I write much better. :-)
