2010 NBA Draft Lottery
In case anyone is interested, the 2010 NBA Draft Lottery will be held tonight and it will be televised on ESPN and online at ESPN3.com starting at 8 p.m. ET.
You can play the lottery for yourself using the above link and also check out the odds of getting the coveted number one pick (i.e. most likely our very own John Wall) for each of the lottery teams.
This little tidbit according to Dave Telep via Twitter: "Spoke with John Wall today. I think it’s the most relaxed and excited I've heard him in a long time. ESPN live w/him tonight."
[UPDATE] -- Full 2010 NBA Draft Lottery results can be found here. Results courtesy of the fabulous SB Nation blog: Ridiculous Upside.

So Big Blue Nation-
What NBA team do we want to draft John Wall? I would like to see him go to Memphis, so I could get to see him play again…

I would say
whoever gets the luck of the draw and gets the first pick is where he will call home for a couple of years.
Boogie Might Be Numero Uno
Tweet:
"Blessed with another day … Today is a big day..hoping THAT team gets the top pick".
Could it be that a team has promised Cousins to be #1?

Ha.
I read that earlier. Who knows, could be? I’m sure that kind of thing actually happens, you know, a team promising a player their pick.
If I had to make a guess about which team might have promised Cousins their pick and based on everything I have read and based on team needs right now, my guess would be the Sacramento Kings. The Kings need a big ‘ol center and if I’m not mistaken they are owned by the Maloof brothers, right?
Since they have made some of their millions in casinos and they do have a penchant for horse racing and the like (I believe they have owned Derby horses in the past?) well, it would actually seem pretty likely to me that they would be up for a player who might be seen as somewhat of a risk as they are in the risk-taking business. The Kings, that’s my guess. : )
get to see 3
uk guys go in first rd.. i have doubts on bledsoe and orton… i know mock drafts have them first rd, but i gotta see it to believe it.
dont know what to expect from them.....but I was hoping that he would end up in Philly myself....

not likely after Gilbert Arenas and his antics this season......they might go so far as to trade Arenas now and try to get
another pick

If you're a GM, do you give up a draft pick (or anything) for Arenas?
No way…his salary is bloated, he has questionable character, he’s approaching 30, is injured often, and has played less than 50 games over the last 3 years.
It’s going to be interesting to see what Washington does if (and when) they pick Wall.
They have Early Boykins and Randy Foye, in addition to Arenas, on their roster as PGs.

I'd trade all 3 to get a seasoned backup and mentor for Wall who is not going to be a liability
for any reason. Arenas says he has learned his lesson, and maybe he has…..

not so sure how smart a move it would be for the other side.....but if Washington is serious about
getting better, it is time to clean house

JW would likely be mentored by Sam Cassell
who is an assistant coach in Washington. He fits the bill as “seasoned backup” mentor.

I'm not questioning the move on the Wizards' side...
..I’m saying, if you’re a GM of another team (the team the Wizards have proposed the trade to), I wouldn’t want Arenas for the reasons I mentioned above. The Wizards are likely stuck with him unless they release him.

Wizards management says Arenas job is safe regardless of draft!

If he has turned the page on all of his
Nonsense, then he can be an asset. Problem is that he cannot stay healthy or smart.

Booooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dang. I was so considering finally pledging allegiance to an NBA team and geting Nets season tickets. Now, not so much. . .
I am withdrawing my name from the NBA Draft, and announcing my intention to accept a scholarship offer to play PF for UK.
There's a good chance-
Big Cuz could wind up in Jersey…
"You are what you are and you ain't what you ain't"
Cuz with Tayshaun would equal my new favorite NBA team
Then it comes to be that the soothing light at the end of your tunnel
is just a freight train coming your way.
I might actually start liking the Motor City Bad Boys again if that happens....

I would agree Coop-
But, no way he’s around at #7…

Late to the party
But I’d like to brag that Ms. Acdixon called the top pick. After they showed all the team representatives, she said “I think the lady in the yellow will win. I hope she does. I can’t understand the Russian guy.” I couldn’t help but laugh when it came true!
