Not Only Is Cal Staying At UK, He Is Bringing Lebron!

Turns out that the John Calipari/LeBron James package rumors were true. At least in some sense. It seems that there has been a lot of behind-the-scenes manuvering on the behalf of LeBron James in the last week. Little known to the fans and GM's alike, when LeBron joined the Cavs he did so because he couldn't get into college, or so he thought. LeBron tested to get into college as soon as his senior year started. It seems that World Wide Wes had those test scores invalidated to force LeBron into going to the NBA instead of playing for the college coach he wanted to play for more than anyone else in the world, that's right, you guessed it, John Calipari. Shortly before his death, Myles Brand had the matter investigated after former Indiana coach Bobby Knight called up his old boss to give him a heads up about the matter. Brand hired former Attorney General Janet Reno to investigate and low and behold the malfeasance was found. In his will Brand made the information available to the new president of the NCAA Mark Emmert who was so moved by Brand's and Knight's gestures that he personally contacted LeBron and told him of what had occurred.

Star-divide

In an effort to make reparations to LeBron for what happened, Emmert has declared him eligible to go back to college and play ball, should he so choose, and he did just that today, announcing that he is signing a letter of intent to play for John Calipari at Kentucky. LeBron stated that since he has all of the money he wants right now anyway, he just wanted to experience college life for a year or two. It is not known at this time if James will join the ranks of other famous one and dones for Calipari over the years, but it is considered to be likely by unnamed sources within LeBron's camp.

James has enrolled at UK for the fall semester and is currently on campus at an undisclosed location working out with coaches and team members alike. He stated to this columnist off-the-record, "How could I not go back and play for Coach Cal like I always wanted?? And to play for him at Kentucky? We are gonna make a serious run for the SEC championship once again. " Joining an already huge class for UK, James will make history being the first player ever to go pro, then return to college after being paid to play ball.

One can only imagine that Calipari has indeed sold his soul to the devil, and that Kentucky can no longer be considered to be an "amateur" team. With James and the rest of the team, Calipari will be making an appearance at the all new LBJ Arena launch party to promote the new downtown arena that James has invested a substantial amount of money in that may be ready for play by fall of 2010. The arena is expected to seat 65,000 and season tickets are now on sale for at least 30,000 of those seats. When asked about James and his letter of intent, Calipari was quoted as saying,"Well, there are still some really good teams out there in the SEC, and just because LeBron will be here does not mean he will automatically start. We have some really talented guys on this team and LeBron might just have to wait his turn".

Cannot be possible? Well, it is as possible as anything else anyone is writing out there. Ain't it?

hehehe........

He'll fit in well with the team.

As a development type player at least he’ll be around for a couple of years and not be one of those despicable “one-and-done” types. Wonder if he can beat out Kanter?

He’s trying for a spot at the bottom of the page! If a vivid immagination helps, he is a shoo in!

They thought they could get it out there before I did, but I scooped them on it. Evil empire that they are,

trying to put us real journalists out of business…..spreading their lies and innuendo…….why would anyone want to be associated with people that just make stuff up out of the Blue??? (pun intended)

What is this world coming to???

I don’t doubt it. WWW is going to be an assistant head coach too.

I have be correctly accused of having a 'football fetish'. You know, someone who doesn't think football is the warm up sport to basketball season.

they would ban us.....lol......and then the NCAA would say that they didnt realize the impact

when they gave him back his eligibility, therefore claiming that it was an NCAA violation even though they cleared him to play in the first place……lol
