With only 6 four star players since there 2004 Recuiting Class -

how are they fairing so well in the national scene?

They are even ballsy enough to say they will come to any school in America, play on that team's home field and not require a return visit.  I see Virginia Tech took them up on that offer and they will play each other to open the season. Talk about telling everyone they want to be a player in the national scene!

If Boise State can get into the nation's top ten, from a conference like they're in. pray tell, why with all the recruiting money, playing in the SEC, having a rebuilt program, with a coach we had in waiting for a few years, why can't we expect more out of the Cats?

I hear 'baby steps' all the time.  Well, baby is now several years out of the probation jail.  It can't be the non conference schedule. We run through that like a dose of Epsom salts.  What was it, 18 non conference wins in a row?

Do ya think that maybe they made a comitment to football and searched out what it actually takes to be a contender?

Seems a school with all the pride we show in basketball, we would be tired of being embarrassed and would want to be the next Boise State. 

 . I know.
