Feeling Cheated

Watching Duke dismantle WVA tonight just left me feeling cheated. I wish we could have had a piece of them. Although if we had played like we did last week and Duke played like they did tonight......we would have had our butts kicked. Although if both teams brought their A game.......OH MY! What a game it would have been! I am starting a petition for Calipari to do a one and one series with Duke. Come on .........yall know you want it! Who is with me on this!?

I hear ya, honey.

I hear ya, loud and clear, and yes, I know it’s probably wrong, and I know I should just take my losing lumps and move on, but darn it, yes, I do feel cheated, as well.

Like I said earlier, I suck at losing. Eventually, I’ll get over it, but today is not that day, especially since we just watched Duke (freaking Duke!!) waltz right into the championship game when I know darned well that we had the talent to compete with them. Sigh, sigh, sigh.

tenken, if you drank, I’d say let’s drink one together, but since you don’t drink, I guess I’ll just have to drink two, won’t I? Bottoms up…. : )

Oh, and sorry, tenken,

but I don’t agree with you about the series with Duke. I don’t really want that, and realistically, I don’t see it happening, but go right ahead and dream about it if you want. : )

..and...

sorry for the triple post here, but the more I think about it, and I’m really trying to rationalize our loss here, but everything happens for a reason, right? Losing is never easy, but I’m sort of thinking that losing to WV was a whole lot better than a loss to Duke would have been. If that makes any sense…

Girl

I need that drink NOW! I am just sick right now……just sick!

Sorry

I dont want to see Duke every year. I couldnt stomach it.

It is not worth an intelligent man’s time to be in the majority. By definition, there are already enough people to do that.

I don't think it will happen

I thought we had decided we already play a too tough schedule. Louisville, North Carolina, Indiana, and UConn.
It would be great for the fans but I don’t see it happening.

I have be correctly accused of having a 'football fetish'. You know, someone who doesn't think football is the warm up sport to basketball season.

UConn isn't a regular on the schedule

They were on there for the SEC/Big East challenge. We’ll have a different BE team in the future.

Cal is on record as saying he wants to toughen up our schedule.

Of course its difficult, its a shortcut... if it was easy it'd just be "the way."

I'm with you.

I’d love a Duke-UK series just like UNC-UK. Home and home.

I say bring Kansas as well. UCLA too. All. Freaking. Comers. :-)

me too

I’ve always thought we should regularly play Duke

Tru, is that your stance in football too?
LOL I know the answer. ‘Baby Steps’

Have you looked at it as maybe we need to get some ‘buy’ wins to keep ahead of North Carolina and the others trying to over take us as the winningest program?

NC

picked up a few more in the NIT while we were home

by bigbill992001 on Apr 5, 2010 5:19 AM EDT up reply actions

Meh... our lead over them is over 20 games at this point

Kansas was the team who lost out because of UNC’s deep NIT run.

I think the two schools may be tied for second now.

Of course its difficult, its a shortcut... if it was easy it'd just be "the way."

I could be totally wrong on this

but I think, UNC has 2004 and KU has 2003. We have 2023.

Blue... there is no other color to Bleed !!!

I agree with you 100%.

We should play Duke every year just like we do Louisville. It would be GREAT for college b-ball!!

You can't fix "stupid"!
